This was the main reason for me coming back up this way today. I figured that the terrain would be a bit easier this time of year. I parked near the suggested spot and then bushwhacked my way in. I actually tried this one last year and couldn't get close to do a good search. Today, I decided to just dodge the briars and make my way over all the nasty pieces of concrete. Wasn't too lucky as I got a good scratch on my forehead but I was determined. Got close and decided just to start looking around. Let my phone settle down and I had to make my way over a few more feet when I spotted something that didn't look right. Got in close and yep, it was the cache. Amazed that it's still here after not being found for almost a year. Container and log are in good shape. I signed in and put back in place. I know I'll never get all of these Space caches but it's fun to get this very challenging one. Thanks

I wasn't intending to go for a 3.5 terrain today, but I was nearby finding the "Maul Cache" , so I decided to give it a go. I spent about 20 minutes ducking and dodging the thorns while taking careful steps on the concrete slabs. Failure was looming when I spotted something that just didn't seem right and bingo there it was. This would be very challenging in the summer. Came away with one thorn scratch and one tick. Even with spot on coords, we honestly would probably not have found this without a paf to ggggeo2. THANK YOU!!! Even so, it took another 15 minutes of searching to come up with it! An evil hide in equally evil terrain... fav point! ;-)

Plus, this makes cache number 1800 for us. HUZZAH!!! :-P
